I have a dream of creating a community that puts title vendors front and center as experts, problem solvers, and critical resources for title agents.
For a long time, agents have turned almost exclusively to Underwriters and Land Title Associations for help and guidance. And they’ve gotten it, lots of it. But what I’m hearing from agents is that it’s not enough. There is still a gap to fill in knowledge and education around marketing, technology and operations. Underwriters and Land Title Associations help with what title agents need to do and why. They handle the regulatory and legal aspects that are critical to providing quality and low risk insurance products. But I keep hearing from agents all over the country that they and their staff also need help with the how.

- What technology is available and how do you make it work in a real world environment?
- How do you successfully market a company in today’s world?
- How do you find, train and keep quality staff?
I think our industry vendors are the right people to answer those questions and I am the right person to create a platform to bring them all together – vendors & agents, but I need to make sure I’m building a platform that provides exactly the right solutions in the right ways. It’s time to do some planning.
